About these terms
This website is provided by House Extension UK, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. These terms cover your use of the website. Building work is carried out under a separate written contract.
Guide prices and information
Prices on this website, including those from the guide-price tool, are guide ranges including VAT at 20%. They are not quotes or offers. A binding price is given only in writing after a survey and agreed drawings and specification. Planning and building information is general guidance and may not apply to your property.
Site visits, design and quotes
The first site visit is free (remote and island addresses by arrangement) and creates no obligation. Where drawings or applications are needed, the design stage is priced and agreed in writing before it starts. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them.
Contracts for work
If you go ahead, your contract will be with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd. It will set out the work, price, programme, stage payments, variations and your cancellation rights. If you sign the contract at your home or away from our premises, you normally have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations; if you ask us to start within that period you may have to pay for work done.
